Research that I started to develop upon the enrollment to the graduate school follows the idea that the human judgment and reasoning are highly context specific. I am particularly interested in how the social, motivational and emotional contexts and their specific proprieties can help individuals to overcome well known reasoning biases (e.g. confirmation bias, base-rate fallacy etc.).
In my other line of research, I am interested in a) attentional processes in the Stroop task.
Finally, I also recently joined Paula Niedenthal's "Emotion & Cognition" research group. Within the ANR founded research project this group investigates the viability of the embodied mind approach in the domain of emotion. More specifically, I am involved in the line of research investigating the role of imitation in the development of emotional competence.
